Suppose it is 2050 and AI has enabled the past 25 years to be wildly successful for cognitive science and cognitive neuroscience. What have we discovered? What outstanding questions from today have we answered? How did that happen?
Over the past month, six labs in the Stanford psychology department (CoCoLab, CiCL, cogtoolslab, PDP, Poldracklab, SNAIL) explored these questions in lab-meeting discussions. In this special Frisem session, representatives from each lab will share highlights from those discussions. We will also facilitate breakout sessions to reflect on common themes, as well as notable points of divergence. Our aim is for this session to inspire further conversation and collaboration that might bring us closer to the future we hope to see for our scientific community.
